    Neil,

The boat was a boat my father and I could afford at the time and fish it as much as we wanted. I was not happy that Sisu Boats put the fuel tank athwartships with no baffles in it. Also not happy they used radiator hose and not CG approved fuel hose for fill hose. They glassed the fill hose to the side of the hull. Something to check on the boat you are looking at as our boat was built in the fall of 1977. We fished the boat after the explosion till 1988 when I settled the law suit and was able to buy a larger boat. The boat is still around here and still in use. If you decide to get the boat good luck. Also if you have anyother questions feel free to ask.

    Neil,

Let me get back to you tonight. I was out of the office Friday and we went to the boat Friday night and fished all weekend. I'm alittle backed up today. Yes, I've known Bill Williams for many years.

    Frigate,
I have two questions. What do you think of Sisu boats before and after the accident. Also by chance do you know a Bill Williams, he's from out East is friends with my father. He told my father a similar story, about a Sisu explosion. Also I just looked at a 77 sisu 22' needs new power, boat hasn't been abused but needs work. Decks are good but will need to replace gas tank. I can get it for $2500.

    Thanks for any help,

    Neil
