20 lbs from Delaware? Don't know any details yet. Nice! Check out the snout on that thing!

Not a 20 lb. from DE... (wow) ...but still my personal best. Unofficial 12.5 lbs., along with twenty-some-odd others, all 6 lbs or better (Only Retaining Limit!). Eastern LIS wreck - perfect Wx, perfect tide...PERFECT DAY - headed home by 10 a.m., got home in time for lunch!

Thanks for the kind words - I wish you the best of luck this weekend - I have no doubt there are more, and bigger, bruisers out there to be caught! I hope you find them someplace where you can "hide" from the westerlies they are predicting! ;)

Thanks tuna - The sinker rack is basically "out of the box" from Graingers, under $100. I'm told I will regret the fact that the mounting plate is not stainless - we will keep our eyes on it and if it starts to "bleed" we will strip down the "baked powder" finish and re-paint with rustoleum...

Anyway - it serves the purpose and was an easy fix (for a change!).

Got DEBF member Roy G & his lovely bride Debbie down from Northern Mass this past weekend for some Blackfishing. The red-hot bite is certainly slowing down on our local reefs, however, we still managed 9 nice keepers for the table. Had Elmar & his dad fishing next to us in the 40' ocean.....

Well, season is winding down. Hoping for a few more trips before the season ends 12/6. Had a great group out Saturday, unfortunately only a few fish made it in the box, many, many shorts........Fished along side DEBF member "Follownig C" (44'Stanley). We'll give it hell again this weekend & hope for better results.....

I heard that the Miss Deb had to give your father a ride in. Was the boat impounded after that D.E.P. boarding? :D

Funny. That's not Ricky, although it looks just like him. It's Jimmy Z's kid, Little Jimmy, who by the way is an excellent angler. He works on some Headboats down in the Bronx & has certainly got his skills dialed in.

Miss Deb had to give my dad a ride because his arms were so tired from catching shorts!! D.E.P let me keep the boat this time but they took the fish stretching machine, bastards!!!

I may be mistaken but I think i have seen Jimmy Jr on the Riptide working deck a couple of times when we would be anchored closer then perhaps should have been
