Thanks Mike. the hull carries its beam nicely to the stern. funny thing is, its a 20 foot mold that i had them stretch 2 feet and it measures 23 feet.

Did you ever extend the keel when you stretched the hull?

    Thanks Mud !

The keel has not yet been stretched to match the hull but i am planning on it. I have a piece made for it. Glassed and hull and decked two 1 inch pieces of the airex foam together. i will get some pics up when i do it. Perry said i should definitely do it, to help hold the boat steady when turning at higher speeds.

Nice work fixing the issues left behind from Perry. The boat is looking good. Has Perry come close to finishing anything yet or is he still all talk?

Thanks man. I.T was definitely very frustrating at times. I don’t know the whole story but I definitely feel they have taken on a lot. I will say he did make an issue we ran into right, and I’m not sure every builder would’ve. I think I connected the dots to your boat, in good hands now if it’s the boat I’m thinking about.

In very good hands now thanks. Listened to the advice of a great Surveyor and before it fell of the tracks we pulled out. Karma can be a bitch at times and from what I can see of this very small industry the fly by night builders don't last very long. The reputable builders who are around and have been around will remain. They practice good quality work and are honest and ethical. It's my own fault for not properly vetting. Live and learn my friend. I look forward to seeing your finished build. Best of luck with her.

Rolled on some gelcoat this weekend. Going to smooth/polish the front seat, livewell/transom and top deck and leave the sides how they are until next winter maybe. Light grey non skid going on the deck and white non skid on the top deck.

Boat's looking great so far, and that doghouse really does perfectly fit the hull. Are the controls for the etec going to be fly by wire?

Those are just the cheap $20 LEDs from eBay. Have done a little searching for a better quality led fixed spot light, in case these don’t do a good enough job picking up cans. Rigid lights q series seems like it could be a good option - $450 price range. Non-led remote spot lights that are crap go for that price.
