I have not posted anything since I have really just started putting her back together
You guys are right , had to see where it sat in water
I’m running a 370 6bta 1 : 1.75 220a 20x 20 prop
When can I go for a ride?
Boat party at Dave's place? Complements on his great work and boat rides, just saying?
Dave - That boat is much too nice to be docked east of the wall. The marina might be fancy, but some of the people over there just hound you for boat rides Go west young man!
Ran into the Tuckerman tonight.
Great looking ride.
Great boat and photos! Do you think this hull would benefit from spray rails? It looks like a lot of water coming up the side, but not going on the deck or windows. With the flare in the bow it probably doesn't need them, but might gain a speed/efficiency advantage.
It’s in the works.
Thanks for the info. I have same hp and gear ratio so I am feeling good about my setup now. Thank you and I can only hope mine looks as clean as yours in the end
Looks great! Just don't like the "ran into Tuckerman" part, lol
Saw him west of the wall tonight. Boat looks great!
I was alittle nervous west of wall when that Pirate ship came rolling up !
Ok now, i must have missed something here. I see no Davit, I see no Hauler. I Do see many rod holders and no cleats on the wash rails. To me that all points to TUNA !!!!!
Oh yeah, now change your avatar.
Brings back memories, mine did the same thing, spray rails will just make it drier. I only picked up .5 - 1 knot by adding them and she was still wet as a duck. Luckily you have no wind, she's can be like a submarine. I'd go full length and keep them low profile on the sides or they might slap the water at rest. If you can go without them that be great. She probably goes nice at 14-16 knots. They only way I was able to get lift was with a custom prop the 19 and 20" props made mine squat too. She rides like a cadillac in a car wash, i loved that boat.
Cadillac through a car was . LMAO
Are you producing hulls or plan to in the future ?
I would consider offering hulls for folks that want to build and put their own numbers on them. Basically I would rent the molds to someone that wanted parts, (hull, house, etc) they would have to use my laminator.
IMHO, I like it much better than the 28BHM. I wanted to raise the house, extend mine a foot or two and drop the skeg.
Tuckerman--good meeting you last night and your Harris looks great ! Capt. Jay
