I have been talking to Moises about a new build. Seems like he is building a good reputation finishing some Mussel Ridge and Wesmacs.

If anyone can share some thoughts on this company, it would be appreciated. feel free to PM me if preferred.

What’s important to me at a minimum....
On time
On budget
Build quality

Thanks in advance for your thoughts

Moises is top notch as far as I’m concerned, custom boat building is hard to do as far as fixed price, I’ve been around boat building for 30 years. What I can see if you want a fixed price the quality is not there. Mo was close to what we where thinking for build on his part. He’s basically time and material and has just one worker. As far as on time goes he really built my boat in 6 months. I’ve never meant a person who hasn’t had a boat built by him that was unhappy

Nothing but good reviews and outstanding work from what I’ve read.

During this Covid bull$hit I say on time and budget is hard to do. Just doing small repairs is tough. Watching Tim’s build and watching progress made even at the worst of this BS.
Yeah I can vouch for that getting parts for a build is tough right now. Hamilton was 24 hours on a delivery order and now is over a week. They can’t get the product.

Not just them. Walk into any WM and it looks like they are going out of business. It’s crazy.

That is incredible that only two men put out a boat so quickly. Very impressive. Do they have sub contractors that do their railings and other custom metal work?
