50 Wesmac, new build but he keeps his boats clean. I love all the room we have spent many hours figuring out how to rig it properly

What's up with the gap between the deck and hull side? It's to the right, blue edge to the deck. Never seen anything like it before...

That a rope locker, he trawl fishes offshore all of his rope stays in there instead of being under there feet, a lot safer

All the off shore boats are like this. There is also a inlet and outlet so sea water is always flushing out the locker.

is it all one level under there? What keeps the pile from falling over? I've never seen the pocket leading aft along the side of the hull.

It’s a flat floor comes in order 3-4 feet, that square hatch is also access. It works very smoothly I never really hear about tangles from inside there. I’ll get one of my son in laws to do a video of how’s it works. When it isn’t blowing 25kt while they are hauling

The only problem with them is that short lobsters sometimes fall in there, so they have to be cleaned out when done hauling. One of my customers had a marine patrol officer give him a hard time when he checked rope locker and there was a short inside
