I run two Durabrite mini’s spots they work great.
they also have a sport series which is less expensive.
I’ve had other lights cheap and expensive on previous boats and Durabrite is the best. Very well built. We’re upgrading all our boats at work with them.
I find the old school spot 100x more useful than the floods. They glare off the bow and create too much light making your eyes lose their adjustment. The flood reflects perfect off moorings and markers and with the handle you can point where you want it.
SO far so good on Gomer. I have a pair of them mounted under the overhang. Also have one mounted facing forward on the mast to help pick up nav aids. Several styles and beam spreads to choose from. Not a bank breaker either.
$24.95 free shipping . Not this Rigid but the same style and not a lot of dough. I have a flood on my bow aimed down but you can see those trap buoys and run at 20 kts. that i use when running the river at night. 8 miles and around a gazillion trap buoys. That's great for your night vision because it dosn't reflect on by bow.
