Great read Thanks !!!!
Yeah, interspersing article.
First time fishing it... On the way out now.
Starting wish I was standing on that deck instead of waiting to go to the Grand Banks! I hope you plug her man!!!!
good seeing you yesterday,,packed out quick ,got lucky 80% stick fed..plus swords at night..
these 2 picks were mainly stick fed fish
Wow, where were you guys?
notch west of hydro
Well, its getting closer.
One more canyon and its in range. Got the new steering ram in pla$e. Finally tracked down a joint that was letting a little air into my fuel system when it sat for several hours. Got some new rods to replace broken gear.
Now I need to sell some fish and pay for it all.
Nice man real nice!!!!
what port are you out of? thought pt jude..
I heard on the radio someone lost a bird I thought it might have been the Whitewater guys but certainly hope it was not you.
How was the canned food?
Trolling sucked and only got worse. Green stick did four fish regular did five and chunking did 14 yellowfin. A wahoo and two released swords. Missed a lot of fish with the green stick but do love it. Will be getting a 44. This worked out great to see if I liked it. My normal spread is there but so close which I don't like makes me wonder if I missed out on all the bigeyes.
Here it is my first green stick yellowfin. To green stick or not, to green stick is my choice.
Agh you shaved! LoL
Yes, I'm out of pt judith. It's still a haul to hydro but the water is moving west.....
Seemed like the water was moving east out there, lol...
That wasn't me with the bird and loosing it, but did loose my ball...
Didn't make it into the canned food but did come close!!! Tried to stay to put a few more in the box...
I was really happy with the green stick, but will be moving to a 44' and selling this one. This was just an interim hold over for this year to get me in the game and wanted to see if I could function with it or not. I had everything and/or a need, except the pole so I got a great deal on a 30' from a board member. Best thing ever, thank you...
I was unhappy with the amount of hooks up I got for the amount of hits. But I think that might be part of the game or remember learning curve. Several times small albies/yellowfin would hang onto the stick but then fall off after a minute or two. My biggest yellowfin for this trip, nothing like last trip, believe around 69lb core was on the stick. As everyday is different one thing I noticed is that all these yf were single bites.
How did that wanchese bird run. Curious to hear about the action on it.
Shawn, how many lures are you pulling? J hooks I assume?
