Long rubber bands for down rod?

    I have been chaining black rubber bands together for my down rod. I see everyone using the long black bands where do i buy these?

    You want a rubber band that's not too stiff, it acts kind of like a shock absorber in a sea, keeping the bait stationary in the water column. Too stiff, and it just yanks the bait up and down the same as it would with a small one. I haven't found single ones that are to my liking, yet. Staples does have ones that are like 10 inches long. I've been tying anywhere between 4 to 6 together depending on sea conditions, and they seem to work.

    I've been to like 6 Walmart's looking for them, still haven't found any in stock!!!

    What ?? I remember taking about 2 years just learning how to tie my Jap hooks on my handlines. . No a bowline, two half hitches or a clove hitch won't work. How deep do i fish ? Where do i put my bomb ? :) Really isn't much you can't find out on the net now. Even Where to fish and when. Now that i think about it i havn't seen how to throw a poon , How to rig a shocker etc. :D
