Steve, I guess you sold the 27'r. That was and still is one nice boat, with a perfect engine, and great, well maintained gear. Someone got a real nice set up there. A BHM will do you well. They carry a lot of weight, and have a massive deck for their size.

yup and i miss it every day. it went to California and i wish the buyer all the luck in the world with it. I know another diamond in the rough will come along just have to be patient. I really need something a bit bigger and i think the BHM will fill the need. You hang out back where i fish winters so keep a eye out for me might be one tucked away somewhere.

Almost ready to go. Waiting for a couple more Durabrite lights and a Simrad Halo radar dome.

Not to sound like an Asshole Steve but those "wounds" were self inflicted. You know ,like an old girlfriend you will never forget. :) Sure am glad it wasn't me who sold that Snow Squall, Pretty boat for sure.

hey is that my new name on here ? Asshole Steve ?? just for selling my boat. Another will come along and i'm already thinking about visors and where how to install gillnet lifters and flakers. I think i like rebuilding them more than fishing them. Only problem is all of my tools stay in alaska and i'm not dragging a new boat back here to work on it. Good excuse to buy more tools;)

I wouldn't blame you for holding out for a Bhm though. Those thinks will carry some weight for their size.[/QUOTE]

Thanks but i'm in no hurry and don't want to jump into something i might regret. To my way of thinking i sold my 1/2 ton pickup with heavy duty springs and now i'm looking for a nice HD 3/4 or 1 ton pickup:D. I was looking at a beat up( rotten core thru most of house, trunk & deck) BHM back in NJ earlier this year and after crawling through it i liked what was there for that size boat so now i just have to be patient till the right one comes along . Guess the old saying about the ass for every seat is true, i'm waiting for my seat to show up. Thanks again for thinking about me. Maybe find me a 20" crossley lifter ?

no i kept all that gear, my lifter is a 12" and it slips the lines when the skates are nose to tail thick. A 20" would grab better i would think.
