    I disagree.
I have worked on 26 foot boats with a generator and A/C’s that were well laid out to prevent the 10lbs of poop in a 5lbs bag issue. If you can’t fit a genset and an A/C in a 42 foot Provincial with out making it a cluster “F” you have no business working on boats.

I would suggest if going the genset route look at some of the new 24VDC A/C’s and 24VDC gensets.

I believe Vinny was referring to the 31 Duffy being a bit small for the genny.

Jerry I checked all of the boats but the setups are just not what I'm looking for. Thank you for taking time to put those together. I'm looking for something that's finished where people can come aboard and sit in a closed cabin on a seat. In my mind I'm picturing something like a Beal with a big cockpit and nice sized cabin. Patience I guess ...

I would have to recommend taking a look at this boat, granted I am biased. 38 Duffy

I have fished as a deckhand on this boat for 6 pack inshore charters, and 3 day offshore canyon charters with 7 people on board. The boat handles people well, and is very comfortable inside. Commercially, I have lived on the boat for months at a time, and also never wanted anything more. Heat, a hot shower, a bed and a warm meal every night.

    Good luck in your search

Spoke to seller today... motor is a little too tired for me and the boat is not exactly "as finished" as I would like. I currently have a boat and I am patiently trying to finds the next one. I do not want to jump on something that's not in my vision. Ideally want something newer and something that wont require refitting or re-finishing.

    Thanks
