    What’s is people opinion on the ROS 19

    I noticed one in the harbor the other day with a little pilot house

    anybody own one or test one how does it handle the seas

    Yes, I had one built last year as a commercial shell fishing boat. It’s an open skiff with a tiller and I am happy with it. Mine has a 25” transom with a 90 hp Honda and it moves along very well. My only complaint is that it’s an extremely wet riding boat. I do not have spray rails, but since there is basically no flare in the bow, the water comes straight up and over.

    Thank for the insight

    the one I viewed the other day was a good boat but the pilot house windows were well below my eye line. If I were to purchase I’d have to figure out house to raise everything about 5 inches

    B1414: do you have a picture of that boat? I own a Ros 19 with a side console and want to add some protection.

    I am going up to ROS on Saturday and will try to get pictures of other 19' if Billy has any at the shop. My 24' is coming along and should be done in another few weeks.
