From Mainely Boats FB page. 30 Calvin getting a 550 HP Cummins, stated it will be under the deck. Also commented saying they have a 34 calvin coming that will get a 675 Scania.

Is that a Holland? Real nice lines.

Dunno, but I’m going to go with a Jonesport origin; even lower and slinkier than a Holland.

Looks like a old Beals Island boat.

Probably a wooden boat, if you look closely? Has the very low freeboard of an old Jonesport-Beals type. Although the steep sheer forward does evoke that Holland look. Love the cockpit curve.

I've looked everywhere also. Doug Hylan's 30-foot D'Anna is the closest I've found, right down to the low sheer aft. If that's too low for some builders, he says you could raise it an inch or two without hurting her beautiful Beals-type lines. (No affiliation)

Jonesporter, take the way back machine to 1965 and I feel like this is what they all looked like downeast.

What's going on with all the short sticks hanging, is that some sort of hoopy gull deterrent?

I also saw that they just got a 38' NB in the shop for finishing as a tuna boat. Is ABC still building the hulls for Northern Bay? I keep hearing about the demise of the 38' NB.

Let's see if I can figure out how to add a picture...this is the prototype of Doug Hylan's D'Anna.

Since you all have found the line drawing of Poozie, I thought I'd add an actual picture. She belonged to Skeet MacDonald, gone many years now.
