So far we've had excellent cruising in Southeast Alaska in the Juneau area. Taku Harbor, Horse Island, Swanson Harbor, Hoonah, Tenakee Springs, and Funter Bay.

    One nasty 12-mile stretch beating into 4-5 footers at 10 knots, but aside from that, smooth sailing and good food! P5250003.jpg P5250005.jpg P5260030.jpg P5260031.jpg P5260041.jpg P5260058.jpg P5260089.jpg P5260094.jpg P5270097.jpg P6080048.jpeg

Sounds like a great time to me. Beautiful scenery. How does that Wilbur handle in the rough stuff?

My first thoughts after beating into the 4-5 footers was "this is smooth, no jarring, just soft". I grew up in Chris Crafts and Post Sportfisherman and they would "pound" in 4-5 footers and slow down quite a bit. I has pleasantly surprised.

Gazing at snow capped mountains while boating? Now that’s something really special. More trip pictures please!
