Dors anyone have any experience with these. Look like they would keep the lazzarette nice and dry.

I just had my dual pump BILGE-B-DRY installed 6 months ago on my Cruisers and it works great! It uses a water pickup with a sponge, filter and additional material. The pump pulls water through the pickup to a discharge line that you connect to a drain basin or overboard discharge. You can use your cell phone to program the pump schedule and run it as often or little as needed. There is not a float switch so the pump runs either on demand or scheduled but won't burn out. You can choose to have 1-4 pumps which is great if you have water in multiple places in your bilge like I do.

I am thinking of getting one myself. Did you simply tie in the small Bilge B Dry hose into your existing bilge pump hose so it discharged? I think I will keep my existing bilge set up and add this bilge be dry and tie the Bilge B Dry into the existing hose. I have a back flow preventor on the existing just after the pump. So maybe I can tie them in and do the same for the Bilge B Dry. do you see that working? Thanks.

I actually added some citrus bilge cleaner from West Marine yesterday and added some water like it said to let it slosh and wash the shit out. When I got bac to dock, I pumped it out and I could smell the difference. But I think will be a good answer. Just was thinking of how to plum it, no shower on my boat. Prob tie it in with the bilge discharge and use a check valve maybe. Keep ya posted. Thanks

I just installed the seaflow pump set up on Saturday. It comes with 25' of 1/4 inch tubing, think I ran about 15' to where I could mount pump and then 1/2 inch tubing to the discharge. Installed a new thru hull for it. Pretty simple just a bit time consuming, trying to figure out where to mount it and the filter so I can get to easy. It has a man / auto switch. The pump also has a programable timer on it.

I emailed the company yesterday and they got back. They said on suction side it’s 25’ with a 10’ rise. On discharge it’s 50’ with 5’ over board rise. Guess that answer my question. Nice guy.

Well I got mine and got it all installed nice yesterday. I ran new wire from my blue seas panel back to the BBD and my other bilge pump. All in nice weather tight connectors. Downloaded the BBD app and holy shit, that thing came on and suck all the water right out. I could have painted the bilge when it was done. Programmed it for 4 times a day at 5 min. I think I’m going to reduce that to two times a day for 2 mins. Man, what a great item. If you don’t have it you sure shit need it! I’ll post some pictures later. Great item!
